FAQs + tips and tricks:

  • Where can I buy the ingredients?

You can find all the ingredients in your nearest organic shop or drugstore.

  • How does the mask work? What are the properties of all the ingredients?*

This mask will improve your skin’s appearance with a potent blend of purifying green clay and highly nutritious refining herbal powders. After you apply the mask, wait around 5-10 minutes or until it starts drying, and then rinse it off with water - don’t wait too long until the mask dries completely. The clay only does its job while it’s moist. Afterward, it may have a counter-effect of drying out your skin.

Bentonite: its adsorbing properties are used to clean and refresh clogged skin. Especially good for oily or combination skin types.

Moringa leaf powder: made of leaves from the moringa tree. It is rich in vitamins A and C and acts as a strong antioxidant, supporting collagen production and helping fight acne and the signs of aging. It may also improve wound healing.

Oat kernel powder: made of hulled, organic oat grains. It has a moisturizing and skin-soothing effect.

Lavender essential oil: may reduce inflammation and lightens and cleans the skin's surface. However, add max. 1 drop to the freshly prepared mask.

  • Can I replace or leave out any of the ingredients?

Of course, you still have much room to be creative with your ingredients. I’d advise you to keep the proportions of herbal powders the same.

    • You can replace bentonite with kaolin clay or any other clay.

    • Instead of oat- or moringa powder, you can use maca, rosehip, spirulina, and cacao powder.

    • If you decide to add essential oil, I only recommend using a lavender essential oil since others might irritate your skin.

  • Is the product vegan?

    Yes.

  • How long does it last?

This face mask in powdered form should last at least 6 months. I recommend you store it in a well-closed container away from heat, humidity, and direct light. Always prepare the mask fresh before use - mix the powdered mask with water in a separate bowl.
